The amd64 port's -current snapshots are missing the MONOLITHIC
kernel, which is often very useful to quickly perform tests to
debug issues using releases.

The i386 port restored it (please see kern/41668 discussions
for reference), and in my opinion the amd64 port, which is also
very commonly used, should probably also include it by default.
