>Description:
I am running 5.1 RC4 on my Thinkpad X61 with iwn wireless set up to do WAP
personal. This machine is set up dual-boot with Slackware Linux 13.1 being the
other system installed (which gives me a basis for comparison; the issue I am
describing here does not occur when running Linux). After booting the system,
the wireless works fine, but after some time, it stops working. There are no
indications in /var/log/messages or anywhere else in /var/log that I could
find. I *did* get the messages

Nov 7 07:36:25 sophie /netbsd: iwn0: fatal firmware error
Nov 7 07:36:25 sophie /netbsd: iwn0: could not lock memory
Nov 7 07:36:25 sophie last message repeated 17 times

that I believe are the same as reported in PR #42114. But those occurred early
this morning at the time our power failed and the wireless base station went
down. The wireless failures that I am describing here occurred later in the day
and were *not* accompanied by those or any other messages.

>How-To-Repeat:
I just boot the machine and use it for awhile until things deteriorate (memory
leak?). In fact, to send this report, I had to save what I'd written, reboot,
and get the message out quickly before the wireless failed (yes, I could have
switched to wired ethernet).
