        recently i'm getting the following message whenever running suid
        binaries.  (in the following example, sudo)
        although i haven't investigated yet, my guess is that it's related
        to the recent setenv changes, which seems to make call malloc
        via unsetenv in the case of !_rtld_trust.

        with DEBUG kernel,

        nfskuro% sudo echo foo
        sbrk: grow 0xb3ba2000 failed, error = 12
