Re: kern/43590 (rump mount process does not detach on netbsd-5)

Synopsis: rump mount process does not detach on netbsd-5

State-Changed-From-To: open->feedback
State-Changed-By: pooka%NetBSD.org@localhost
State-Changed-When: Wed, 14 Jul 2010 11:23:49 +0300
State-Changed-Why:
rump is a bit funny in the sense that it is unsupported in the
NetBSD 5 release and supported only in current. If you still want
to use it, your options are:

1) use rump from -current sources on NetBSD 5
2) install -current wholesale
3) wait for NetBSD 6.0

I personally do "1". I wrote instructions for this quite a while
ago, but I didn't get anyone to test them, so I didn't publish
them. If you want give them a whirl, I put them up at:

        http://ftp.netbsd.org/pub/NetBSD/misc/pooka/rump_on_5.txt

I'd like to close this PR.
