 Let's see, it's been nearly three years. In that time there just might
 have been a USB-related fix or two, don't you think? Just maybe?

 Well, uhidev can only attach through a uhub device. Please include the
 dmesg lines for the uhci and for whatever other devices appear in
 between it and the uhidev. If you aren't sure, please just send the
 whole dmesg.
