    This sounds like a duplicate of port-alpha/40077, which I think may be 
 due to revision 1.113 of sys/dev/pci/pci.c.  On an old Compaq DL360, this 
 caused the machine to hang on shutdown and required a power cycle to 
 clear.  I'm not certain if this is the same problem, but removing the code 
 in pci_child_shutdown() could verify it [that's how I got around it on the 
 DL360].
