>Description:
In NetBSD 5.0_RC3, the \< search pattern for matching the beginning of a word
is broken.

Add this text to a document in vi :

aaaaaaaaaa aaaaaaa aaaaa aaaa aaa aaa aa a

Now search for: \<aaa

Your search will match several times in the string "aaaaaaaaaa" when it
should have only matched at the beginning of the word.

NetBSD 4.0 vi works normally, as does the non-NetBSD version of
nvi-1.81.6
