 With i8254 or clockinterrupt the effect is still there, which
 is obvious since the problem is dropped interrupts during the
 APM call.
 
 But with TSC or ichlpcib0 (the default chosen by netbsd-5) the
 accumulated error is at least a factor 1000 smaller.
