In case it matters - userland is 4.0.1.

After booting a Sony VAIO PCG-F807K, the firewire controller (a
000:08:0: Sony CXD3222 IEEE 1394 Host Controller (Firewire serial
bus, interface 0x10, revision 0x02)) with the following attach
messages:

fwohci0 at pci0 dev 8 function 0: vendor 0x104d product 0x8039 (rev. 0x02)
fwohci0: interrupting at irq 9
fwohci0: OHCI version 1.0 (ROM=1)
fwohci0: No. of Isochronous channels is 4.
fwohci0: EUI64 08:00:46:03:00:54:90:c3
fwohci0: Phy 1394a available S400, 3 ports.
fwohci0: Link S400, max_rec 2048 bytes.
ieee1394if0 at fwohci0: IEEE1394 bus
fwohci0: Initiate bus reset
fwohci0: BUS reset
fwohci0: node_id=0xc800ffc0, gen=1, CYCLEMASTER mode

spams the console log with these messages every few seconds:

fwohci0: txd err= 3 miss Ack err
fwohci0: txd err= 3 miss Ack err
...

>How-To-Repeat:
        Boot NetBSD-5.0_RC1 or RC2 GENERIC kernel.
>Fix:
Workaround:
        boot netbsd5 -c
        disable fwohci
        quit
