>Description:
The building and installation of shared library when using bsd.lib.mk
is affected by SHLIB_MAJOR, SHLIB_MINOR and SHLIB_TEENY variables.
Previously, one had to define at least "major" and "minor" ones,
        pkgsrc exhibits this problem.

Unfortunatly, the only documentation for that is the source.
>How-To-Repeat:
Try building test library using bsd.lib.mk.
Try building same test library using bsd.lib.mk from pkgsrc.
See how the latter fails, read the source and find the canonical way.
>Fix:
        Describe them somehow, please!
