Alright, thanks for the help. The first log is the successful one,while the second is the failure. They primarily differ starting atlines 151.

I had to undo a few of the changes I had made in the last few days torc.conf to recreate the issue. During the installation of gdm, hal,fam, and dbus (all of which I had to uncomment from rc.conf for theissue to show back up), something seemed to fix the issue. So, the bugis no longer of personal importance, but I suppose it's interestingnonetheless.
