 Some more information on this, btconfig -s ubt0 seems to think SCO 
 packets are flowing properly:
 
 # btconfig -s ubt0

          num_cmd = 1
          num_acl = 8, acl_mtu = 384
          num_sco = 65534, sco_mtu = 48
          Total bytes sent 340645, recieved 341447
          Commands sent 5, Events received 11
          ACL data packets sent 0, received 0
          SCO data packets sent 6678, received 6693
          Input errors 0, Output errors 0
