>Description:
On my DELL Inspiron 530 machine, bundled with a Core 2 Duo CPU,
cpu0: "Intel(R) Core(TM)2 Duo CPU E4500 @ 2.20GHz",

the second core will not come ready. The kernel crashes a while after because
it doesn't expect this behavior.

FreeBSD 7.0 and Linux/Ubuntu happily boot both the second CPU with no problem,
so it does not seem to be a BIOS issue.
>How-To-Repeat:

>Fix:
Change BIOS setting to disable MP or boot a UP kernel. This is no fix but a
ugly workaround.
