System: NetBSD s012 2.1 NetBSD 2.1 (NSW-S012) #10: Mon Dec 12 12:03:54 CET 2005
wgstuken@s011:/export/netbsd-2.1/usr/src/sys/arch/i386/compile/NSW-S012 i386
Architecture: i386
Machine: i386
>Description:
The target "iso-image" in /usr/src/etc/Makefile does not do anything
anymore.
The comment there states, that the dependency to do-iso-image should be
located
in the machine dependen makefile part
/usr/src/etc/etc.<machine>/Makefile.inc, but
for unknown reasons the only one that contains a iso-image target is
the mac68k
version. All other architectures don't have this target.
>How-To-Repeat:
Try to create the iso-image files via "(cd /usr/src/etc && make
iso-image)".
Nothing will happen on an architecture other than mac68k.
>Fix:
I'm not shure it this target is out of date. If it is so, it should be
entirely removed
from the makefiles in /usr/src/etc and /usr/src/etc/etc.mac68k.
If it is still a valid target, the missing "ios-image: do-iso-image"
target lines need to
added to all achtectures again to get it working. It my be added to
/usr/src/etc/Makefile
instead of adding it to all Makefile.inc files.
