 Just try the boot image from the daily builds, e.g.
 
http://ftp.netbsd.org/pub/NetBSD/NetBSD-daily/HEAD/200801170002Z/amd64/installation/cdrom/boot.iso
 
 That alone would be a good start to find out if the problem is still
 present. If it is, I will build you an image for mpverbose acpidump.
