 I think it never worked right any time that I tried it in the past, but
 here are the results with these kernels.
 
 With netbsd-GENERIC.gz from 4.0 the same thing happens. If you leave it
 going for a while, this effect to the screen looks rather scary, like
 the computer is breaking. (Of course, it is, in a way, if the RAM is
 getting Alzheimer).
 
 Also (I think that was with -current too), the fan spins down but that
 takes a few seconds before it happens. When I press a key, the screen
 restores itself and the fan spins back up (but the OS remains frozen)
 
 With netbsd-GENERIC.MPACPI.gz from 3.1: init dies -> panic. The init is
 of course from my fairly -current userland. I expect though that it
 would fail in the same way.
