 Julian's patch makes my net-booting experience on the T1 much better;
 now instead of the occasional panic I get a single 'interrupt while
 !IFF_UP' message; however, testing has been light since I only get this
 about one in three or four boots (maybe even less).
 
 I agree that Martin's suggestion of setting a flag in meminit and not
 taking interrupts until it's set sounds a bit nicer as a long-term fix,
 for what it's worth...
