>Release: NetBSD 4.0_RC2
>Organization:
>Environment:
Architecture: i386
Machine: i386
>Description:
Booting a 4.0_RC2 or -current kernel on a HP Vectra VLI8 does
not complete, it hangs during the attachment/configuration of
piixpcib0, 'disable piixpcib' in userconf allows a sucessful
boot.

The last thing printed is:
piixpcib0: Intel 82371AB (PIIX4) PCI-ISA Bridge (rev. 0x02)

>How-To-Repeat:
Boot 4.0_RC2 (or -current) on a vintage Vectra.

>Fix:
Unknown. But removing piixpcib from the GENERIC configs
should work as a quick fix.
