 I blindly ran off and assumed that this was patched against current,
 but it looks like it's for 3.1... A current kernel didn't build :)
 
 I built a 3.1 kernel with this patch and it seems to work pretty good.
 I did ls on a big directory and it seems to scroll quite a bit faster.
 
 This is on a NEC MobilePro 880.
