>Organization:
N/A
>Environment:
it's the same on all installers
>Description:
When running the installation, dmesg flies by very quickly and if you don't know the order your disks have been detected, it's not so easy to decide which disk to install on :-)
>How-To-Repeat:
Run the installer
>Fix:
My request is, that in the installer alongside the list of install-disk devices (wd0, wd1, wd2 etc) is the identification string for the disk drive

for example:

sd0: [Maxtor 80GB blah blah blah]
sd1: [WDC WD400BB-22DEA0]
sd2: [WDC WD40 0BB-00DEA0]

rather than just the current

sd0
sd1
sd2

list.
