System: NetBSD BSD.main.tld 3.1 NetBSD 3.1 (GENERIC) #0: Tue Oct 31 04:27:07 UTC 2006 builds@b0.netbsd.org:/home/builds/ab/netbsd-3-1-RELEASE/i386/200610302053Z-obj/home/builds/ab/netbsd-3-1-RELEASE/src/sys/arch/i386/compile/GENERIC i386
Architecture: i386
Machine: i386
>Description:
Media autoselect for network card on I386 seems broken with NetBSD 3.1_PATCH kernel.
	dmesg shows the following error:
SIOCSIFMEDIA: Invalid argument: ifconfig IP netmask IP media autoselect
>How-To-Repeat:
Might not be applicable for every card (?), just switch to media autoselect with a NetBSD 3.1_PATCH kernel (03/11/2007) and reboot.
>Fix:
No kernel fix. The workaround is to set media type manually. i.e: IP netmask IP media manual TYPE
