 Hmm, I didn't know about that PR. It's possible no developers had access 
 to suitable media (with 1KB/2KB physical sectors) with which to test 
 the changes. Now that's no longer true, I suspect we'll see those 
 changes added fairly soon, at least as a stop-gap until DEV_BSIZE is 
 fixed. ;-)
