 	In -current as of today, the tlp driver has many problems
 with the Macronix MX9871[35] chips, including media negotiation,
 dropped packets and interrupts and generally miserable performance.
 The old de driver (and very early versions of the tlp driver - in
 the 1.6[A-Z] timeframe) do/did not have any problems.
