NetBSD-4.0 amd64 hangs during installation (/sbin/newfs) onto a disk connected via nForce4 SATA. NetBSD-i386 successfully installs in the same environment.
Cancel the installation and dmesg shows "viaide lost interrupt"

MB: ASUS A8N5X
CPU: Athlon X2 3800+

Prepare nForce4, SATA-HD.
Boot installaion cd-rom and choose a SATA HD as destination.
Choose default partition sizes and continue.
