NetBSD barossa 3.99.21 NetBSD 3.99.21 (BAROSSA) #1: Mon Jul 17 22:04:46 CST 2006 wulf@:/usr/src/sys/arch/i386/compile/BAROSSA i386
The azalia device driver doesn't support pin sensing. This has to the effect that the speakers are not muted when using headphones on systems that employ Sigmatel 9220 codecs.
Use headphones on systems with Sigmatel 9220 codec and notice that the speaker amplifier isn't muted to the annoyance of by-standers.
I failed to source the Sigmatel 9220 codec datasheet. Perhaps someone else has access to this document. Implementation should reasonably trivial.
