This bug seems to be slightly volatile - it happens depending on the exact
phase of moon at boot time it seems. When I reboot the system, sometimes
it works as expected, and never seems to fail later. When it fails after
reboot, it seems to constantly fail later too.

When the bug happens, the shell in use does make no difference.

Maybe something is scribling over the sigprops[] array? I have to check this
on next boot when the problem happens.
