 (Yes, now you will all say "broken hardware!" - I'm investigating that
 possibility, but it's a pretty new machine and all other OS work just fine,
 though the most used OS besides NetBSD does internaly limit the memory to
 3GB ["this behaviour is by design"] - which might mean some errors are
 not found there.)
