 I also got a pool_get() panic - memory modified on freelist.
 This looks like a generic memory corruption issue. I would have guessed
 hardware, but I'm pretty sure this is not the case here.
 
 Here is a dmesg from the machine running a single processor kernel - I'll
 test if this is more stable. I'll also try an i386 SMP kernel.
