>Release: NetBSD 3.99.11
System: NetBSD 3.99.11 NetBSD 3.99.11 (TEQUILA) #3: Sat Nov 19 00:12:40 CET 2005 sgimips
Architecture: mipseb
Machine: sgimips

With a well connect time server on the local net (only entry in /etc/ntp.conf)
ntpd on this O2 never locks in:

remote local st poll reach delay offset disp
 nightfall.duskw 2 64 377 0.00070 -0.276062 0.00214

All other machines on the same network, with identical configuration, sync
just fine.

Just run ntpd on a O2?
A kernel with options NTP vs. one w/o did not make a difference for me.

no idea
