NetBSD is no longer running on the machine, however if this information is absolutely necissary to have, I can reinstall and check.
>Description:
mc0 does not receive ~50% of all packates when using either AUI or 10BaseT ethernet. The device works in the installer and NetBSD 1.6, however it fails to function properly when booted from the installed system.

The same problem is described here. http://mail-index.netbsd.org/port-macppc/2004/10/11/0004.html

I used 1.6 based on the experience of the user in the aformentioned email, however I gave up on NetBSD due to IPv4 vs. IPv6 issues preventing pkg_add to work. I do not know if any later versions (other than 2.0.2, which had the same mc0 problem) work.
>How-To-Repeat:
Install NetBSD 1.6 or later and use the built in ethernet device.
