While I haven't rototilled the code (as I originally planned), numerous bugs
in this area have been fixed. Furthermore the siop driver has been replaced
with the esiop driver for your hardware, so chances are high this problem
has been solved.
Could you test a -current or 3.0_BETA kernel and report results, please?
