 If I unplug my mouse, things work properly.
 
 My mouse is a Microsoft Wireless Optical Mouse with a USB connector,
 plugged into my system's auxiliary PS/2 port.
 
 If I plug my mouse into the USB port, things work as expected.
 
 If I enable USB legacy mouse support in the BIOS and plug my mouse into
 the PS/2 port, the system boots, but the keyboard is unresponsive.  The
 keyboard is also unresponsive if I enable both the USB legacy mouse
 support and USB keyboard and legacy support options.
 
 My mouse was working fine in the PS/2 port under Linux and Windows, but
 I suppose they don't try to initialize the mouse in the same way at such
 an early stage.
