I beg to differ.  Can you justify such a statement, please?

I find that, if a user's group membership exceeds a certain small 
arbitrary limit enforced by NFS then they must change their primary 
Unix group.  That's normally done with newgrp, or its equivalent.  
Using newgrp is preferred because it has the benefit of having existed 
since at least Version 7.
