>Release: 2-0-2 resp. Acon32 boot loader (rev. 3.40)
>Organization:
>Environment:
RiscPC, 2 MB VRAM, 256 DRAM, RISC-OS 3.7
>Description:
After double clicking the instKern, NetBSD runs up to the
reality check. At this pointNetBSD is reporting:
"reality check: No DRAM in this maschine? "
I suspect, that there is a problem with memory allocation
under NetBSD, as in this combination total memory is over 256 MB.
(Remember that there was such a similar problem with older
PCPRO3 versions, what doesn't work with 256 DRAM on Risc PC's.
(Up to now I have not tried to test my theory
by removing physically some DRAM.
I wan't to avoid it, as NetBSD should work as it is.
/ options passing trough the kernel does'nt work / )
Question: Was there really a check in the past,
if NetBSD runs fine on a 256 DRAM Maschine ?
kindly regards
