 Hi!

Just upgraded a -current to 2.99.15 with whatever sources anoncvs-us2
mirror gave on 20050203. Observed a panic quite like in this PR.
We have several NetBSD-current systems with wm(4) cards, and this is
the first time this PR bites us.

Previous upgrades on these wm-based systems were done 09/2004 and 10/2004
and at the time we had no trouble rebooting those systems remotely. Now,
I haven't been able to reboot the upgraded one even once so that it
 would not panic on shutdown.

I don't feel too confident in trying to upgrade the rest of the
wm-based systems. Considering all the other wm(4) related PRs,
should we replace NICs or OS? (= Is anyone working on these, is there
any hope of a near future fix?). Is there a gigabit NIC that would
 *work* in a NetBSD system?
