>Description:
We have two Dell (2600?) dual RAID5 machines experiencing the same problem. This problem did not exist for 1.6.2 but does exist for 2.0rc4 and rc5. I haven't tried earlier versions of 2.0. I have also heard that these systems but been somewhat unstable and rebooting on their own, but the problems may be related.

I'm told booting stops here without any error messages or cursor (he has let it sit for 20 minutes).
A normal boot has the above with the addition of the lines below
-- START --
boot device: ld0
root on ld0a dumps on ld0b
root file system type: ffs
cpu1: CPU 0 running
-- END --
>How-To-Repeat:
>Fix:
System does boot after a few attempts.
