>Description:
When setting ngen to 0 in /etc/newsyslog.conf (I didn't want to preverse
any *.gz files, but I wanted to rotate the file anyway), newsyslog goes
into an infinite loop (or something behaving like an infinite loop).
newsyslog -v outputs :
  rm -f /path/to/file.-1
  rm -f /path/to/file.-1.gz
