I describe an uname output by hand because this kernel cannot boot up.

After wdc structures clean-up at Aug 15 2004, my iBook G4 cannot boot.
A wdc controller of a GENERIC kernel cannot probe an internal harddisk as 
wd0, and after some moments, the kernel prompts to request a root device.
The kernel before Aug 15 2004 can probe wd0 and boot normally.
