setting hostname via echo foo > /kern/hostname doesn't work anymore
I'm sure it was working just prior to 2.0 branch point

curry% su
curry# grep kernfs /etc/fstab
kernfs /kern kernfs rw
curry# mount | grep kernfs
kernfs on /kern type kernfs (local)
curry# hostname curry
curry# cat /kern/hostname
curry# hostname rice
curry# cat /kern/hostname
curry# echo curry > /kern/hostname
curry# cat /kern/hostname
curry# eh ?
