System: NetBSD forsaken 2.0_BETA NetBSD 2.0_BETA (_FORSAKEN_) #0: Sun Jun 6 09:15:22 BST 2004 abs@iris.absd.org:/tmp/_FORSAKEN_ i386
Architecture: i386
Machine: i386
>Description:
Connecting a Lacie "POCKET USB FDD 706018 MYFLOPPY3" attaches as:
	umass0 at uhub1 port 2 configuration 1 interface 0
umass0: Y-E DATA USB Floppy Drive, rev 1.10/5.01, addr 3
umass0: using UFI over CBI with CCI
	atapibus1 at umass0: 2 targets
	sd0 at atapibus1 drive 0: <Y-E DATA, USB-FDU, 5.01> disk removable
	sd0: 1440 KB, 80 cyl, 2 head, 18 sec, 512 bytes/sect x 2880 sectors

Attempting to mount_msdos the disk in the drive (which had just been
formatted and checked under Windows on the same machine) results
in the motor spinning up and the heads making a 'snick' noise several
times, than after some time a 'sd0: dos partition I/O error'.

Same problem occurs if device attached on bootup.
