>Description:

I tried the Perl APC module to and noticed while building non-release versions
of perl that patch(1) has problems with some of their patches. It complains
about malformed patches and does not apply them.

patch 2.5.9 apparently can handle these patches.

>How-To-Repeat:

Try to apply perl patch 7416
(http://public.activestate.com/cgi-bin/perlbrowse?patch=7416)
