System: NetBSD krishna.mogua.com 1.6ZK NetBSD 1.6ZK (AINT) #4: Thu Mar 25 00:24:09 KST 2004 junyoung@krishna.mogua.com:/home/junyoung/aint/sys/arch/i386/compile/AINT i386
Architecture: i386
Machine: i386
>Description:
Intel 82801EB/ER SMBus Controller included in recently sold Intel chipset-based M/B
is not supported by NetBSD:

Intel 82801EB/ER SMBus Controller (SMBus serial bus, revision 0x02) at pci0 dev 31 function 3 not configured

As a result, NetBSD can't be booted from a SATA drive connected to that M/B.
OTOH, Linux and Windows are booted and run with the same hardware just fine.

Complete dmesg output is as follows:

NetBSD 1.6ZK (PYRASIS) #0: Wed Mar 24 01:42:37 KST 2004
