>Description:
On HP Compaq nx9010 (P4-2.4GHz.) laptop, kernel says:
(from dmesg)
cbb0: interrupting at irq 11
cardslot0 at cbb0 slot 0 flags 0
cardbus0 at cardslot0: bus 2 device 0
pcmcia0 at cardslot0
biomask ef55 netmask ef55 ttymask ffd7
IPsec: Initialized Security Association Processing.
ex0 at cardbus0 dev 0 function 0: 3Com 3c575CT Ethernet

ex0: eeprom stays busy.

ex0: eeprom stays busy.

ex0: eeprom stays busy.
ex0: MAC address 00:00:00:00:00:00

However, this ethernet card works very well on Toshiba ToPIC cardbus controller with same kernel.
On HP/Compaq nx9010, whenever card inserted, machine becomes unresponsive.

>How-To-Repeat:
Insert ethernet card into Cardbus slot and boot with GENERIC_LAPTOP (or CardBus enabled kernel).
