ntpd=YES                ntpd_chrootdir="/var/chroot/ntpd"

# /etc/rc.d/ntpd start
Starting ntpd.

# ps axw | grep ntpd
14481 ?? Ss   0:00.02 /usr/sbin/ntpd -u ntpd:ntpd -i /var/chroot/ntpd 

# /etc/rc.d/ntpd stop
ntpd not running? (check /var/run/ntpd.pid).

# ident /etc/rc.d/ntpd
