There was what is most likely a fix for this sent to tech-pkg
by Kouichirou Hiratsuka <hira@po6.nsk.ne.jp> early Friday (very early,
Japan time).

It amounts to, no, the resolver is not re-entrant, and yes, that is
the problem.
