>Description:
Galeon bookmark folders have an option "Open whole folde in tabs",
which creates a separate tab for each listed page and then
loads each page into its own tab. When I use that option, it
hangs. I can sometimes get Galeon to hang by doing a full reload
of a graphics-intensive page such as www.cnn.com.
The problem started when I upgraded to galeon 1.2.13nb2 along
with Mozilla 1.6 (galeon relies on Mozilla).
>How-To-Repeat:
see above.
>Fix:
I can bypass the problem by going through a proxy server.
I speculate that the problem is related to its use of threads
(but not the underlying thread library; I've see this on 1.6.2
and on -current with kernel pthreads); the more limited
concurrency from having a limited number of network connections
to the proxy may tend to prevent it from happening.
