>Description:
I am just sending this to acknowledge the removal of saslauthd from the
cyrus-sasl2 pkg. I understand that this behavior has been mimicked in the
cyrus-sasl and saslauthd pkgs, and I know there's a saslauthd2 wip on sf.net.
My question is: why was saslauthd removed from cyrus-sasl2 before saslauthd2 was
integrated into pkgsrc? and what are we to do in the interim between now and the integration of saslauthd2 into pkgsrc?
It is a bit confusing to me as to how to get postfix to do AUTH with the current state of the cyrus-sasl2 pkg.
