FreeBSD mainframe.w.lub.pl 4.9-STABLE FreeBSD 4.9-STABLE #6: Sun Feb  1 03:14:06 CET 2004     doc@mainframe.w.lub.pl:/usr/src/sys/compile/MP-UX  i386

>Description:
While buildling audio/mikmod:

bmake: "../../devel/ncurses/../../devel/ncurses/buildlink2.mk" line 54: Malformed conditional (!empty(PREFER_PKGSRC:M[yY][eE][sS]) ||  !empty(PREFER_PKGSRC:Mncurses))
bmake: "../../devel/ncurses/../../devel/ncurses/buildlink2.mk" line 123: if-less endif
bmake: "../../devel/ncurses/../../devel/ncurses/buildlink2.mk" line 123: Need an operator

>How-To-Repeat:
Get FreeBSD, install pkgsrc, try to build audio/mikmod
>Fix:
I have no idea, if I have old bootstrap, I don't exactly remember, when
it was installed, bmake(1) doesn't seem to have _any_ output-version
command-line switches.

pkgsrc was updated minute ago.

It seems like the same situation, that occured on FreeBSD a while ago,
should be in GNATS as PR/24129, but I haven't looked too close to this
issue.
