Trying to build openmortal produces an error over a missing
SDL_image, during config. (I had an exact error message, but as I was
editing, I hit the back-arrow at the wrong place in links, and instead
of moving in the edit-field, it threw me back to the prior link,
discarding my nearly-complete PR. (sigh) I need to restore mail
support on the AMD64 to send-pr locally again.)
Try to build openmortal on a *clean* system (deinstall all other
openmortal has a bulink to SDL_image, already, but the package was
*not* installed as far as I could tell.
I added SDL_image to my system and still got the same error.
So, I rebuilt the .../devel/SDL package, too, now---which required
re-patching smpeg's video (see a previous PR).
Even doing that, I get back to the SDL_image not found error.
I don't know what to try to make it build, now. (Fortunately, my life
will go on without building this; I only wanted to verify whether a
prior PR was really ready to be closed---but I cannot verify that, as
I cannot get that far in the build anymore.)
NOTE that this is on the same package, but different from, PR 23665.
