Sorry, those patches are just supplied "as-is".  They're not even really
complete since some inter-relate to other changes I've made in other .mk
files and other pkgsrc modules.

I can of course answer specific questions about why I've made a specific
change, how I use it, etc., but I haven't really got the time or energy
to go through and identify all the features separately, especially since
most of the important ones should be self-obvious to any pkgsrc
maintainer.  They've evolved over the past couple of years, and no doubt
will continue to evolve as I continue to use pkgsrc, and simply
represent the current state of my local pkgsrc directory.

I.e. if something looks interesting but isn't self-obvious, just ask!  ;-)
